Ingredients
- 250g fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup spring onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots, finely grated
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 12-15 spring roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the prawns, water chestnuts, spring onions, carrots, ginger, salt, white pepper, sugar, and sesame oil.
- Place a spoonful of the prawn mixture onto a spring roll wrapper and roll it up, sealing the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawn rolls until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
