Ingredients
- 12 large prawns, deveined and shells on
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, julienned
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Place the prawns in a heatproof dish.
- Spread the garlic, ginger, and green onions over the prawns.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and white pepper. Pour the mixture over the prawns.
- Pour the water around the edges of the dish.
- Steam the prawns over high heat for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
