Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh clams
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the clams under cold water and scrub the shells to remove any dirt or sand.
  2. In a wok or large pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the clams to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to coat the clams.
  5. Add water to the wok, cover with a lid, and let the clams steam for 3-4 minutes or until they open up.
  6. Once the clams have opened, sprinkle chopped green onions over the top and give it a final stir.
