Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh clams
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the clams under cold water and scrub the shells to remove any dirt or sand.
- In a wok or large pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the clams to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to coat the clams.
- Add water to the wok, cover with a lid, and let the clams steam for 3-4 minutes or until they open up.
- Once the clams have opened, sprinkle chopped green onions over the top and give it a final stir.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
