Ingredients
- 500g fresh squid, cleaned and sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the squid to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns opaque.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the squid and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the squid is evenly coated with the sauce.
- Add the red chili (if using) and green onions, and stir-fry for an additional 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the stir-fried squid to a serving dish and serve hot.
