Ingredients

  • 500g fresh squid, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the squid to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns opaque.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the squid and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the squid is evenly coated with the sauce.
