  • 2 red chilies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 2 tablespoons kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the eggplant slices for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until charred and tender. Set aside.
  3. In a food processor, combine the roasted peanuts, shallots, garlic, red chilies, tamarind paste, kecap manis, and salt. Blend until it forms a smooth paste.
