Texas Roadhouse Green Beans

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and toss to coat in the bacon drippings.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the green beans before serving.
