Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bhajani flour (multigrain flour mix)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Bhajani flour, onions, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and flatten them into round thalipeeth on a greased banana leaf or parchment paper.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and cook the thalipeeth on both sides using a little oil until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls.
  6. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
