Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork loin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the pork cubes to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked skewers.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the pork skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining marinade until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
