Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flaked tuna, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, coriander leaves, and salt.
  2. Shape the mixture into small round cutlets and set aside.
  3. Dip each cutlet into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the cutlets until they are golden brown on both sides.
  5. Remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
