Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked tofu in the skillet and stir to coat the tofu evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
