Tibetan Yak Sausage And Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Tibetan yak sausage, sliced
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced yak sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour the broth over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the potato mixture to a casserole dish. Arrange the browned yak sausage on top.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
