Ingredients
- 1 lb Tibetan yak sausage, sliced
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced yak sausage and cook until browned.
- Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the broth over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a casserole dish. Arrange the browned yak sausage on top.
- Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
