Tibetan Yak Steak With Spicy Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 yak steaks
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the yak steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.
  3. Place the yak steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated yak steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
