Ingredients
- 8 lamb chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Season the lamb chops with salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the lamb chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the lamb chops from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until softened.
- Add water to the skillet and stir to deglaze the pan.
- Return the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the lamb reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Serve the spiced lamb chops hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
