Timballo Di Scrippelle: Crepe Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 12 crepes (scrippelle)
  • 2 cups Bolognese sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread a thin layer of Bolognese sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Place a crepe in the dish and spread a layer of Bolognese sauce over it.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmigiano-Reggiano and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers, finishing with a crepe on top.
  6. Spread the ricotta cheese on top of the final crepe and sprinkle with the remaining Parmigiano-Reggiano.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
