Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese
  • 2-3 hot peppers, such as jalapeños or serranos
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Remove the stems and seeds from the hot peppers, then chop them finely.
  2. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, chopped hot peppers, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the tirokafteri to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little extra olive oil before serving.
