Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 small hot peppers, such as jalapeños or serranos, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, hot peppers, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and blend again to incorporate the seasoning.
  3. Transfer the tirokafteri to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
