Tiroler Gröstl Temptation
Tiroler Gröstl is a traditional Austrian dish that originated in the alpine region of Tyrol. This hearty and flavorful meal is perfect for a cozy dinner on a cold evening.
Ingredients
- 500g potatoes, boiled and diced
- 150g bacon, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chives for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until translucent.
- Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook until they are golden and crispy.
- Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the empty space. Cook the eggs to your desired doneness.
- Season the potatoes and eggs with salt and pepper, then sprinkle the crispy bacon on top.
- Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
