Ingredients
- 12 large mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions and green chilies until the onions are translucent.
- Add the prawns, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the prawns are fully cooked.
- Remove the prawn mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- Stuff each mussel with a spoonful of the prawn mixture and press gently to close the shell.
- Heat a pan and place the stuffed mussels in a single layer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the mussels are fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
