Tivat Fig And Prosciutto Crostini

Ingredients

  • 12 slices of baguette, about 1/2 inch thick
  • 6 fresh figs, sliced
  • 6 slices of prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic glaze
  • 4 oz of goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the stovetop grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly charred.
  3. Spread a layer of goat cheese on each grilled baguette slice.
  4. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each fig slice and place it on top of the goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle the crostini with balsamic glaze and honey.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
