Ingredients
- 1 lb pork belly, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup banana ketchup
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, minced garlic, ground black pepper, and banana ketchup. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced pork belly to the marinade, making sure each piece is well-coated. Marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated pork belly slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until caramelized and fully cooked.
- Once cooked, transfer the Tocino Twist to a serving plate and serve with garlic fried rice and fresh tomatoes on the side.
