Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets, such as cod or haddock, finely chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp red curry paste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup green beans, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup kaffir lime leaves, finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup long beans, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the chopped fish, red curry paste, egg, fish sauce, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Add the green beans, kaffir lime leaves, cilantro, long beans, and coconut milk to the fish mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Form the fish mixture into small patties and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the fish cakes from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve the Tod Mun Pla hot with a side of sweet chili dipping sauce.
