Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the tofu into slices and marinate in soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
- While the tofu is marinating, prepare the peanut sauce by whisking together peanut butter, lime juice, brown sugar, and water. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the marinated tofu on a stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, until grill marks appear.
- Serve the grilled tofu with the peanut sauce on the side or drizzled on top.
