Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the tofu into slices and marinate in soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
  2. While the tofu is marinating, prepare the peanut sauce by whisking together peanut butter, lime juice, brown sugar, and water. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the marinated tofu on a stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, until grill marks appear.
  4. Serve the grilled tofu with the peanut sauce on the side or drizzled on top.
