Tofu Skin

Ingredients
- 1 package of tofu skin
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Soak the tofu skin in warm water for 10 minutes to soften.
- In a pot, bring the vegetable broth to a simmer and add the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and green onion.
- Cut the tofu skin into desired shapes and add to the simmering broth.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Slowly pour the slurry into the pot while stirring gently to thicken the broth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the tofu skin hot as an appetizer or side dish.
