Tofu Tikka Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tikka masala spice blend
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt and tikka masala spice blend. Add the tofu cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
  3. Add the marinated tofu cubes to the pan and cook until lightly browned.
