Ingredients
- 1 cup dosa batter
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan or cast iron griddle on medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the center of the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a thick pancake.
- Sprinkle the chopped tomatoes, onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves evenly over the batter.
- Drizzle some oil or ghee around the edges of the uthappam and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
- Flip the uthappam and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until it is cooked through and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
