Ingredients
- 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the chopped walnuts, flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
