Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the pork, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves, and brown sugar.
  2. Marinate the pork for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Remove the pork from the pot and shred it using two forks.
