Ingredients
- 4 green bananas, peeled and sliced

Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

- Remove the fried banana slices from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Using a tostonera or the back of a spoon, flatten the fried banana slices to about half their original thickness.

- Remove the tostones from the oil, sprinkle with salt, and serve hot.
