Ingredients

  • 4 green bananas, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the banana slices to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the fried banana slices from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

  5. Return the flattened slices to the hot oil and fry for an additional 2 minutes per side, or until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove the tostones from the oil, sprinkle with salt, and serve hot.
