Ingredients
- 4 quails
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, mint)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the rice, chopped walnuts, chopped onion, butter, salt, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, and fresh herbs. Mix well.
- Stuff each quail with the rice mixture, then brush the outside of the quails with olive oil.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the quails for 10-12 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the quails from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
