Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/4 cup diced tofu
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons loose-leaf tea
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and water to form a dough. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cabbage, tofu, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, sugar, salt, and white pepper to make the filling.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough circle, then fold and pleat the edges to seal the dumplings.
- Place the loose-leaf tea in the bottom of a steamer, then arrange the dumplings on top.
- Steam the dumplings for 15 minutes, then serve hot.
