Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 250g Travnik cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the crumbled Travnik cheese, cooked rice, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the cheese and rice mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Pour the tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
