Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 250g Travnik cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, mix the crumbled Travnik cheese, cooked rice, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the cheese and rice mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
