Tregaron Tofu And Mushroom Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 2 cups of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add the mushrooms and bell pepper, and cook until they start to soften.
  5. Return the tofu to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for a few more minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the stir-fry hot and enjoy!
