Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the diced bell pepper and mixed vegetables to the pan, and cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the cumin, turmeric, and paprika, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan, and stir to combine with the vegetables and spices. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the rice is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve the Tsebhi Birsen hot.
