Tuaran Mee Goreng
Tuaran Mee Goreng is a popular stir-fried noodle dish from Sabah, Malaysia. It is known for its flavorful combination of noodles, seafood, and local spices.
Ingredients
- 300g Tuaran noodles
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 150g squid, cleaned and sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Boil Tuaran noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok over high heat. Add prawns and squid, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked. Remove from wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining cooking oil in the wok. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Push the garlic to the side of the wok, crack the eggs into the wok, and scramble until set.
- Add the cooked noodles, prawns, squid, bean sprouts, soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, sugar, and ground white pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until well combined and heated through.
- Transfer the Tuaran Mee Goreng to a serving plate and serve hot.
