Tuaran Mee Goreng

Ingredients

  • 300g Tuaran noodles
  • 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 150g squid, cleaned and sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Boil Tuaran noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok over high heat. Add prawns and squid, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked. Remove from wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining cooking oil in the wok. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Push the garlic to the side of the wok, crack the eggs into the wok, and scramble until set.
  5. Add the cooked noodles, prawns, squid, bean sprouts, soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, sugar, and ground white pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  6. Transfer the Tuaran Mee Goreng to a serving plate and serve hot.
