Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the cumin seeds and chili flakes, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the sliced potatoes, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
- Stir in the minced garlic and vinegar, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the spiced potatoes to a serving dish, garnish with chopped cilantro if desired, and serve hot.
