Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia or snapper)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 3 red chilies, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the fish fillets with salt and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Set aside.
- In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the diced tomatoes, turmeric powder, tamarind paste, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes break down and the sauce thickens.
