Ingredients
- 300g green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 shallots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp paste and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the green beans, sugar, salt, and soy sauce. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the green beans are tender-crisp.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
