Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef slices with jerk seasoning and soy sauce for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and scotch bonnet pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and stir to combine with the vegetables. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
