Ingredients

  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp paste, sweet soy sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Add tofu and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the tofu is golden and the mushrooms are cooked.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot.
