Ingredients
- 250g firm tofu, cubed
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp paste, sweet soy sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
- Add tofu and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the tofu is golden and the mushrooms are cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
