Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup pitted green olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 sheets of store-bought puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the tuna, onion, hard-boiled eggs, olives, raisins, tomato sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spoon the tuna mixture onto the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
- Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and crimp the edges to seal the empanada.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg to create a golden crust.
- Make a few small slits on the top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
