Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh tuna, sushi grade
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Cut the tuna into small cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
- Add the shallots, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, lime juice, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the tuna. Mix gently to combine.
- Gently fold in the diced avocado and chopped cilantro.
- Divide the tuna tartare into individual serving dishes and serve immediately.
