- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chicken pieces until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the onion, carrots, and garlic until softened.
- Add the rice, cumin, and paprika, and stir to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, add the browned chicken pieces, and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
