Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups (1.5 liters) chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the chicken pieces until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onion, carrots, and garlic until softened.
  3. Add the rice, cumin, and paprika, and stir to combine.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, add the browned chicken pieces, and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
