Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 8 large vine leaves, blanched
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the rice, onion, pine nuts, currants, parsley, mint, olive oil, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper.
- Place a vine leaf on a flat surface and spoon some of the rice mixture onto the center of the leaf.
- Fold the sides of the leaf over the filling, then roll it up tightly to encase the filling.
- Repeat with the remaining vine leaves and filling.
- Place the dolmas in a large pot, seam side down, and pour enough water to cover them.
- Place a plate on top of the dolmas to keep them submerged, then cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour.
- Remove the dolmas from the pot and let them cool before serving.
