Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb or beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pieces of flatbread or pizza dough
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground meat, onion, tomatoes, parsley, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions.
- Roll out the flatbread or pizza dough into thin rounds.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the dough rounds.
- Cook the lahmacun on a hot griddle or skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until the dough is crispy and the meat is cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
