Tuscan Pesto Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. (225g) pasta
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a food processor, combine the basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan. Pulse until finely chopped.
  3. With the food processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
