Tuscan White Bean and Roasted Garlic Dip is a classic Tuscan appetizer that is perfect for entertaining or enjoying as a snack. This creamy and flavorful dip is easy to make and pairs perfectly with crusty bread or fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 whole head of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with a little olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
- In a food processor, combine the white beans, roasted garlic cloves, olive oil, rosemary, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, and serve with your choice of bread or vegetables.
