Tvorog Tiramisu
Tvorog Tiramisu is a delightful Russian twist on the classic Italian dessert. This recipe combines the creamy texture of tvorog (Russian cottage cheese) with the rich flavors of tiramisu, creating a unique and delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- 500g tvorog (Russian cottage cheese)
- 200g ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup rum (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the tvorog with sugar until smooth.
- Dip the ladyfinger cookies in the brewed coffee and layer them in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the tvorog mixture over the cookies.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and tvorog mixture.
- Sprinkle cocoa powder on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, dust with additional cocoa powder and drizzle with rum if desired.
