Tvorog Tiramisu is a delightful Russian twist on the classic Italian dessert. This recipe combines the creamy texture of tvorog (Russian cottage cheese) with the rich flavors of tiramisu, creating a unique and delicious dessert.

Tvorog Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 500g tvorog (Russian cottage cheese)
  • 200g ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tvorog with sugar until smooth.
  2. Dip the ladyfinger cookies in the brewed coffee and layer them in the bottom of a serving dish.
  3. Spread half of the tvorog mixture over the cookies.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and tvorog mixture.
  5. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Before serving, dust with additional cocoa powder and drizzle with rum if desired.
