Ingredients
- 1 cup grated ube
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the grated ube and water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to extract the ube liquid.
- Return the ube liquid to the saucepan and add the sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture thickens to a syrup consistency.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar or bottle for storage.
