Udang Bakar Pedas (spicy Grilled Prawns)

Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 5 shallots, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the shallots, garlic, red chilies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, and lime juice to create the marinade.
- Add the prawns to the marinade and toss to coat them evenly. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer the marinated prawns and brush them with vegetable oil.
- Grill the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have grill marks.
- Remove the prawns from the grill and serve hot.
