Ingredients

  • 2 stalks lemongrass, white part only, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 10 red bird's eye chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 2 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic, shallots, lemongrass, and chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
