Ingredients

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 shallots, thinly sliced
- 10 red bird's eye chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 2 tablespoons palm sugar
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic, shallots, lemongrass, and chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the tamarind paste, palm sugar, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes.
